The medicinal plant Barleria gibsoni Dalz, family Apocynaceae, is a well-known traditional used in various system of medicines. It spread all over India. present study provides antioxidant capacity aqueous and ethanolic root extracts 2,2'-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), nitrous oxide hydrogen peroxide scavenger assays were used.
